Letter to the Ex - No 1

The way Alison Goldfrapp sings this, she sounds like
she's had a row in a nightclub, been dumped, passed out, and woken up in a refrigerator full of Absolut.

I'll live for you
I'd die for you
Do what you want me to
I'll cry for you
My tears will show
That I can't let you go

It's not over, not over, not over, not over yet
You still want me, don't you
It's not over, not over, not over, not over yet
Cos I can see through you
It's not over, not over, not over, not over yet

Don't let me down
Don't make a sound
Don't throw it all away
Remember me
So tenderly
Don't let it slip away

It's not over, not over, not over, not over yet
You still want me, don't you
It's not over, not over, not over, not over yet
Cos I can see through you
It's not over, not over, not over, not over yet

Oh my word that is a haunting painful lamentation.

I regretfully admit that our species cannot seem to absorb the neuro-chemical joy of falling in love, without remembering the eviscerating horror of having lost it or living without it.

My condolences to your soul.

Whether that's acceptable or accepted--dunno.....

(((((( Gordie ))))))

Loss isn't fun.

Thank you, Miss Mel, that is something I can accept with all my heart.

Do bear in mind, both of you, that I posted this and "No 2" in solidarity with FatHorse. I'm not hurting. I has good loves in my life.
